The Streaming Wars have become even more competitive in recent years with new additions like Disney+, HBO Max and Peacock launching.
One subscription streaming service which never really hit warp speed was CBS All Access, so it's getting a relaunch as Paramount+ to make it more of a contender in these competitive times.
The platform will now include thousands of episodes and hundreds of shows from CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, BET, Nickelodeon and the Smithsonian Channel and the new launch outdoor campaign hopes to communicate the breadth of programming available, from drama to kids shows, reality series to sports, hit movies to late-night and the news.
Not only will the new service host CBS All Access originals like Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, The Good Fight, The Stand and Why Women Kill, but it will also unite all the Star Trek films and shows in one streaming destination, plus have original films like The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, which also premieres today.
It's reality show offering will also be bolstered in the coming months by the addition of the sixth season of the popular RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars and a new Eurovision-style drag singing competition.
These streaming service launch billboards and street posters were snapped along Ventura Boulevard, Wilshire Boulevard, Pico Boulevard and the Sunset Strip from February 18 to March 1, 2021.
The platform seems to have also taken over the Sunset Strip's lamppost ads and has a special hoarding installation along the busy commuter route to promote the launch.
As a comparison this It's On CBS All Access outdoor campaign is how its predecessor tried to attract a wider audience after it had launched.
And for other recent entrants in this Streaming Wars, make sure you also check out these Disney+ launch billboards, these HBO Max launch billboards, these Peacock launch billboards and these Discovery+ launch billboards.
Meanwhile much like CBS All Access initially, Apple TV+ choose not to launch with a brand campaign, but instead to focus on its original series offering (although the difference being they launched with multiple shows at the same time).
Get ready for peak thrills, peak action, peak intrigue, peak adventure and another peak charge on your bank balance for the latest streaming service in town.
