After a tumultuous year, first responder drama 9-1-1 returns for a fourth season to tackle more outrageous emergencies and deal with the very real-life fallout of the murder of George Floyd by police officers, nationwide protests, an attempted insurrection and a raging global pandemic.
These season it looks likes like things are off to a dramatic start for the firefighters, police and paramedics with a crashed metro bus dangling from a high rise office building and the Hollywood Reservoir dam threatening to flood the city.
This eye-catching extension cut-out billboard for the fourth season was spied along the Sunset Strip on December 9, 2020, whilst the standard landscape version was spotted along Melrose Avenue on January 8, 2021.
The Fox drama is always known for attention-grabbing visuals, so be sure to check out these previous season promo billboards for 9-1-1 from recent years,
The series features a diverse cast, but with the LAPD violence and brutality at last year's protests, plus reports of white supremacists and militias infiltrating police forces across the nation, the double standard of policing at the Capitol terrorist attack and off-duty police officers taking part in the riot, it'll be interesting to see how series like 9-1-1 will tackle these important issues.
