The festive musical fantasy is written and directed by David E. Talbert and offers a fresh and spirited tale for the family this holiday season.
Forest Whitaker stars as the legendary toymaker 'Jeronicus Jangle' of Cobbleton, whose inventions burst with whimsy and wonder.
Sadly he was once betrayed by his trusted apprentice, 'Gustafson' (played by Keegan Michael-Key), who stole his most-prized creation.
The arrival of his bright and inventive granddaughter, 'Journey' (Madalen Mills), and the discovery of a long-forgotten robot invention, helps to heal old wounds and rekindle the magic within.
The billboards with the LED lights strung between the two of them for a magical effect was snapped along West Hollywood's Sunset Strip on November 10, 2020.
Meanwhile the other standard movie billboard (which also features actress Phylicia Rashad) was spied along Melrose Avenue on November 24, 2020.
For similar examples of this string lights gimmick, make sure you also check out these billboards for The Christmas Chronicles and these Tales of the City billboards.
No matter who you are, or what you do, the magic lives inside of you this holiday season. Here's to a joyful and magical Christmastime.
