Not only does Netflix have original films like The Prom, We Can Be Heroes, The Midnight Sky, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and The Christmas Chronicles 2 to entertain its subscribers this festive season, but the streaming giant also dropped its new Shonda Rhimes produced period drama series, Bridgerton, on Christmas Day.
Created for the small screen by Chris Van Dusen, the television series is adapted from Julia Quinn's bestselling romance novels set during the competitive world of Regency London high society.
The world of wealth, lust and betrayal are seen through the eyes of the powerful 'Bridgerton' family in this first project from Shonda Rhimes for the streamer since her $150 million deal.
These series premiere billboards were photographed along the Sunset Strip, Pico Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard from December 9 to December 20, 2020.

If this colourful and sexy update of Regency era romance wasn't enough to tempt you, the series is also narrated by Julie Andrews as the high society gossip columnist, 'Lady Whistledown', so let the scandals begin.
UPDATED: Congratulations to Bridgerton for scoring two SAG Award nominations, one for Outstanding Drama Ensemble Cast and the other for Regé-Jean Page for Best Actor.
These awards nominee billboards were spied along the Sunset Strip and Melrose Avenue on February 18, 2021.
