Regardless of whether or not you'll be having a big family gathering for Thanksgiving this year due to COVID-19, the holiday season can often be exhausting, so here's some extra energy to keep your strength up in the coming days courtesy of these Gatorade Bolt 24 and Bodyarmour fruit punch drink billboards.
And just like you may find yourself battling with your siblings, parents or in-laws this holiday season over politics or who makes the best mashed potatoes, these super drink brands are facing off in the city skyline in a big way along West Hollywood's Sunset Strip.
Both sports drinks brands are illustrating great examples of comparative advertising, Gatorade's new Bolt 24 antioxidant offering aimed at athletes on and off the field shouts about having 30% less sugar than Bodyarmor Superdrink.
Whilst Bodyarmor's super-sized message claims to have 100% less Red Dye 40 than Gatorade's other Fruit Punch product.
One health message may be about less sugar and the other about no artificial colourings, but in both outdoor campaigns the bottle shot is the hero of the billboards.
The Bolt 24 billboards were photographed on the eastbound side of the Sunset Strip's Mondrian Hotel, Santa Monica Boulevard, Riverside Drive and La Cienega Boulevard from October 13 to October 28, 2020.
The giant Bodyarmor billboard was snapped westbound along the Sunset Strip on the side of West Hollywood's neighbouring 1 Hotel on October 28, 2020.
If you need some extra oomph this holiday season when you're slaving away in the kitchen making a family feast to feed the hungry hordes, at least you have some choices to get you through day (although Daily Billboard finds a glass, or two, of champagne also helps).
