Just when you thought you could forget about Charles Manson and his murderous Family, along comes a new six-hour documentary series, Helter Skelter: An American Myth, to reexamine his crazy reign of terror.
'Helter Skelter' refers to The Beatles song that apparently inspired Manson's paranoid delusions of coming race war as a means to control his hippie followers, and this series explores the motivations of the Manson Family in the infamous and gruesome Tate-LaBianca murders in L.A. on August 9-10, 1969.
This creepy Epix documentary series billboard was photographed above La Cienega Boulevard on July 29, 2020.
If you're looking for some true crime to fill your head with nightmares and distract from the horror of the real world at the moment, it looks like it's time to ride this particular Helter Skelter.
