Da 5 Bloods movie billboards...

Now more than ever it's important to have black voices behind the camera, in the writers' room and be seen on screen, and if there one creator who has always championed the cause of Black Live Matters it's Spike Lee, so his new Netflix film, D 5 Bloods, is more timely than ever.

The movie sees four aging, grizzled African American G.I. veterans back in Vietnam to find a long-buried treasure and recover the remains of their fallen squad leader.

Delroy Lindo's 'Paul', Clarke Peters 'Otis', Norm Lewis 'Eddie', Isiah Whitlock Jr.'s 'Melvin' and Chadwick Boseman's 'Stormin' Norman' used to be Da 5 Bloods, although the latter was killed in combat.

Accompanied on the mission by Paul's concerned son (Jonathan Majors), the men hunt for the gold and battle the forces of man, nature and the ghosts of their past.
