If you were shocked and outraged by the murder in broad daylight of Ahmaud Arbery whilst he was out jogging and see it as a sign of the racism and injustice in this country, then HBO's enlightening docu-series about Atlanta's Missing and Murdered: The Lost Children may also leave you saddened and dismayed.

The five-part series explores the abduction and murder of at least thirty African-American children and young adults in Atlanta between 1979 and 1981.

Forty years later the case has been officially reopened by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and through never-before-seen footage, interviews and court documents, the series reexamines the evidence and raises new questions about the original murder investigation which found 23-year-old Wayne Williams guilty of killing two adults and the majority of the missing children.
