This April if you're looking for a good laugh, then it looks like Netflix can deliver the goods with its new comedy movie, Coffee & Kareem.
And to let you know it's in the same vein as 1980s action and buddy cop flicks, the film's outdoor advertising is spoofing classic movies like 48 Hrs., Beverly Hills Cop and Die Hard in the skies of L.A.
Ed Helms stars as a Detroit cop, 'James Coffee', whose girlfriend's 12-year-old son 'Kareem' (Terrence Little Gardenhigh) is trying to break them up. However when Kareem's plan backfires, he ends up having to team-up with the police officer to say alive when they are targeted by Detroit's most ruthless drug kingpin.
These movie homage billboards were photographed along West Hollywood's Sunset Strip on March 18, 2020.
Ed Helms fans can also enjoy these Vacation movie billboards, these Tag movie billboards and these billboards for The Hangover movies.
Meanwhile for more movie parodies, make sure you check out this My Little Pony Bridesmaids movie spoof billboard, this Spyfall spoof billboard and this Lady and the Tramp spoof billboard.
Like most 1980s action movies did in the past, let's see if Coffee & Kareem will score a sequel or two on the streaming platform after it makes its debut.
