This may be a New Year, but that doesn't stop studios from rebooting, remaking and reimagining old television series for new audiences.

This January it's the turn of Party of Five, the teen family drama about five siblings orphaned when their parents are killed in a car accident by a drunk driver, that aired from 1994 to 2000 for six seasons and helped launch the careers of Neve Campbell, Matthew Fox and Scott Wolf.

Freeform's new spin on the drama is far more timely, and follows the five 'Acosta' children as they navigate daily struggles in Los Angeles when their parents are deported back to Mexico.

Brandon Larracuente's 'Emilio', Niko Guardado's 'Beto', Emily Tosta's 'Lucia', Elle Paris Legaspi's 'Valentina' and baby 'Rafa' must grow up quickly if they are to make it on their own and find a way to get their parents back in the country.

These series launch billboards for the immigration-themed drama were photographed along the Sunset Strip, Melrose Avenue, Fairfax Avenue and Highland Avenue from December 16 to December 19, 2019.

This current administration seems to enjoy separating families, caging children and demonising immigrants, so let's hope this topical drama is not too hard to watch by those affected and enlightens others about these harrowing, traumatic and un-American policies.
