Jodie Whittaker returns as 'The Doctor' in the beloved British sci-fi series, the first female and thirteenth incarnation of Gallifreyan Time Lord, for her second season of adventures through time and space with her traveling companions played by Mandip Gill, Tosin Cole and Bradley Walsh.
Not only will this eclectic bunch of adventurers face old and new faces and challenges this season traversing through history and the universe in the TARDIS (which looks like a vintage blue police telephone box from the outside, but is bigger on the inside), but they'll also enjoy the return of two-part stories.
These cosmic and colourful season twelve billboards were snapped along Vine Street and along the Sunset Strip on December 9, 2019.
Fans of the enigmatic Time Lord can also check out these previous season and incarnation Doctor Who billboards.
Here's hoping this season The Doctor and her pals travel to futures that don't focus on building walls, closing borders and Brexit-ing from other countries, and that the inclusive 'Space. For all.' message inspires us all to embrace those in need, share and care for the planet, strive for equality and love one another.
Here's to more hope, compassion and understanding in 2020.

UPDATED: In the future Doctor Who will be available on the new streaming service HBO Max and so The Doctor is a part of their new outdoor marketing campaign.
This 'Where Time Lord meets timeless' billboard was spotted along Santa Monica Boulevard in West L.A. on April 22, 2020.
