The female DC comics book characters have previously been adapted in the short-lived 2002 series of the same name, but in this cinematic outing after splitting with her twisted paramour 'Joker', Harley teams up with the hypersonic-powered 'Black Canary' (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), vigilante 'Huntress' (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and police detective 'Renee Montoya' (Rosie Perez) to help save a young girl, 'Cassandra Cain' (Ella Jay Basco), from the 'Black Mask' (Ewan McGregor) the evil crime lord of Gotham City after she steals a precious diamond from him.
These movie billboards paying homage to Italian artist Sandro Botticelli's 'The Birth of Venus' painting from the mid 1480s were captured along Fairfax Avenue, Riverside Drive, Highland Avenue and the Sunset Strip from January 14 to January 25, 2020.
