UPDATED: With a shorter winter awards season this year it looks like HBO has decided to focus on its Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations, with the results to be announced on January 19, 2020.
The final season of Game of Thrones scored three nods, for Peter Dinklage, Outstanding Cast Ensemble and Best Stunt Ensemble.
Mahershala Ali was recognised for his role in the third season of the crime anthology series, True Detective.
And HBO's dark comedy Barry garnered nominations for its star Bill Hader and its Ensemble Cast.

Plus the sophomore season of Big Little Lies also received a nomination for its Outstanding Ensemble Cast.
