In recent days Daily Billboard has shined a spotlight on the winter awards campaigning of Netflix and HBO, and today with the Golden Globe nominees announced tomorrow it's the turn of Amazon Prime Video, Starz, Hulu and more besides.
Following the success of Fleabag at the Emmys (stealing the crown from last year's winner, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Amazon immediately started campaigning heavily for the British comedy-drama written by and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
In the series second season she continued to adjust to the loss of her best friend and her feelings of guilt for her part in her death, fell for a 'hot priest' (played by Andrew Scott), bonded further with her sister (Sian Clifford), was inspired by Kristin Scott Thomas over cocktails and continued to be vexed by her artist godmother (Olivia Colman).These wonderful character moments for your consideration were snapped along Sunset Boulevard, Beverly Glen Boulevard, San Vicente Boulevard, Melrose Avenue and 3rd Street from October 7 to October 23, 2019.
