Based on Charles Brandt's 2004 book, I Hear You Paint Houses, the feature film unites Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci in the three hour and twenty-nine minute crime drama (and even sees them digitally de-aged to younger versions of themselves).
Set in the 1950s, De Niro stars as 'Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran', a truck driver-turned-hitman who becomes involved with Pesci's mobster 'Russell Bufalino' and his Pennsylvania crime family, including working for Pacino's powerful Teamster 'Jimmy Hoffa'.
These movie billboards were spied along the Sunset Strip and Santa Monica Boulevard from September 21 to October 23, 2019.
Robert De Niro fans can also enjoy these Dirty Grandpa billboards, these Grudge Match billboards and these billboards for The Wizard of Lies, whilst Al Pacino admirers can check out these Paterno billboards, these Phil Spector billboards and this Once Upon a Time in Hollywood billboard.
If you're a fan of mobster movies then The Irishman sounds like it's right up your dark alley, whether you watch it on the big screen, or stream in the comfort of your own home.
But will it deliver the Best Picture Oscar that the streaming giant so desperately craves to validate it as a filmmaker?
