If you thought the television landscape has been competitive in recent years with the launch of streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hulu worrying broadcast networks and cable channels, this November sees more challengers enter the streaming arena to battle it out for viewers precious eyeballs and dollars.
Consumer technology giant Apple throws its hat in the ring with its Apple TV+ offering this fall, with a low $4.99 price point (even free for a year with some selected hardware purchases) and a smattering of original new shows sporting all-star casts to tempt audiences.

One of those new series is headlined by the $1 billion dollar box office star of Aquaman, Jason Momoa.
See is set in a dystopian future where humanity has lost its sight and must find new ways to hunt, build and interact to survive, when a set of twins is born with sight changing everything.

If the big screen superhero and Game of Thrones star isn't enough to tempt subscribers, then there's the high-profile cast of The Morning Show also available to stream.
Costing $300 million for two seasons, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell star in the drama with a premise ripped from the headlines in the #MeToo era we live in, exploring the lives and scandals of the men and women who help America wake up each morning.

The streaming platform also plans to provide a modern sense and sensibility of writer Emily Dickinson, with Hailee Steinfeld starring as the titular American poet.
These launch billboards for the biographical comedy-drama were photographed along Sunset Plaza (swapping creatives to either side of the street for variety) and Pico Boulevard from October 8 to October 23, 2019.
Let's see if Dickinson can break the rules of television and offer something original for the new streamer.
In addition to fantasy sci-fi, dramas and comedies, Apple TV+ will also offer family-friendly documentary offerings, like The Elephant Queen.

From the natural world to outer space, and Apple TV+ will also take audiences to the stars with the science fiction drama For All Mankind.
The alternate history series sees the USSR reach the moon in the 1960s first, and sees the spaces race continue with NASA competing with the Soviet Union to take the next giant leap for mankind.

But that's not all, you'll also get to see Snoopy in Space, watch Oprah's Book Club and stream more offerings for kids and adults alike. But will it be enough?
With Disney+ launching on November 12 and now owning the controlling interest in Hulu, AT&T's WarnerMedia launching HBO Max and Comcast's NBCUniversal Peacock all on the way in the next twelve months, the Streaming Wars are about to kick into overdrive.
