If Stumptown and Batwoman don't satisfy your comic book adaptation cravings this fall, then maybe Netflix's new superhero sci-fi series Raising Dion will.
Based on Dennis Liu's 2015 comic book and short film, the show follows a widowed mother named 'Nicole Reese' (Alisha Wainwright) raise her son after the death of her scientist husband 'Mark' (played by Michael B. Jordan).
The normal dramas of being a single mother are amplified when her young son 'Dion' (Ja'Siah Young) starts to exhibit supernatural powers, who others are keen to exploit.
These dramatic series launch billboards were photographed along the Sunset Strip and Westwood Boulevard on September 29, 2019, and the following day.
The streaming service is no stranger to kids with powers, just check out out 'Eleven' in Stranger Things, but let's see if this original series has the ability to supply enough super-twists to manifest a second season.
