No stranger to action after starring along side 'Nick Fury' and the Avengers in the Marvel Studios movies as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent 'Maria Hill', this fall she plays a military veteran and private investigator based on the non-superhero comic book series of the same name by writer Greg Rucka and artist Matthew Southworth.
Named 'Dex Parios', she works as a P.I. in Portland, Oregon, to support her disabled brother and dig her way out of debt.
However her unorthodox methods put her in the crosshairs of hardcore criminals and means she doesn't always get along with the police, like her contact there, Michael Ealy's 'Detective Miles Hoffman', but luckily she has a friend in Jake Johnson's local bar owner.
These series launch billboards were snapped along the Sunset Strip and Barham Boulevard from August 20 to September 4, 2019.
Cobie Smulders admirers can also enjoy these Friends From College billboards, whilst for more of Jake Johnson you can check out these New Girl billboards and these Let's Be Cops movie billboards, plus fans of Michael Ealy can take a look at these movie billboards for The Perfect Guy and these Almost Human billboards.
She may not require superpowers to save the day her way, but she'll need a certain something to survive a competitive fall season of new television series.
From the looks of things though, it looks like she'll be able to take things in her stride.

UPDATED: Here's another billboard for the new series spied along Venice Boulevard on September 7, 2019.

UPDATED: Here's also a cool bus shelter installation featuring a miniature car jumping over it.
This installation was snapped along West Hollywood's Santa Monica Boulevard on September 12, 2019.
It's a shame it's so nestled away in the tree tops as it doesn't stand out as much as it could, although kudos for details, as the car sports Oregon license plates.
