Marvel may have enjoyed much greater success at the box office with its cinematic universe, but even though DC's plans may have faltered on the big screen, they have succeeded in creating a streaming platform for their fans that includes, movies, TV shows, cartoons and comic books with DC Universe.

The subscription streaming service offers access to DC's diverse catalogue of films, television shows and animated series, a rotating selection of thousands of comic books and original live-action shows like Titans, Doom Patrol and Swamp Thing (which was cancelled after just one season due to production and funding issues in North Carolina).

Does DC Universe have what it takes to survive the coming streaming wars, especially with its parent company, WarnerMedia also launching HBO Max in the future which will stream the Arrowverse shows?

Or will there be a future Crisis of Infinite Earths which will see the competing platforms merge into one universe?

Obviously it'll be up to these DC superheroes and their fans to save the day.
