The intimate new ad creatives capture recording artists and music industry talents like Tyler, The Creator, FKA twigs, Travis Scott, Tierra Whack, Kamasi Washington and IDLES on stage and behind-the-scenes.
Unlike previous user-generated imagery of nature and selfies, this campaign seems to have access to musical acts that a normal audience member wouldn't, across music genres like rap, jazz, punk rock and more besides.
This particular choice of hip artists also provide the technology giant with added street cred to appeal to a younger consumer.
Apple is certainly putting on a great show in the city skyline with these striking new billboards, which once again keeps the Shot on iPhone concept fresh.

These 'On Tour' billboards were photographed along Melrose Avenue, Santa Monica Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard from July 18 to July 24, 2019.
