Based on Nickelodeon's animated series Dora the Explorer, the film follows in a long tradition of cartoon to live-action adaptions for the big screen, like The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dennis the Menace, Transformers and Scooby-Doo.
Isabela Moner stars as the intrepid explorer who has spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents.
In her first solo big screen outing she leads a ragtag group of teens, along with her monkey best friend 'Boots', on an adventure to save her parents (played by Michael Pena and Eva Longoria) and unlock the secrets behind a lost Inca city of gold.
She's also joined on her dangerous travels by Jeff Wahlberg as her cousin 'Diego' and iconic Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez.
These movie billboards were found along the Sunset Strip, La Cienega Boulevard and Melrose Avenue from June 22 to July 3, 2019.

Fans of Eugenio Derbez can also check out these movie billboards for Overboard, Instructions Not Included and How to be a Latin Lover.
Let's see if Dora's live-action movie proves as golden as the lost civilisation she discovers at the box office this August.
