A new
Star Trek series starring
Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as
The Next Generation's 'Captain Jean-Luc Picard' you say?
"Make it so".
This new spin-off follow-up series will be warping into action soon on
CBS All Access, joining
Star Trek: Discovery on the subscription streaming platform, and continuing the adventures of the
Star Fleet captain after the events of
TNG and the subsequent movies.
Patrick Stewart played Picard for seven season from 1987 to 1994, and in four films, the last being 2002's Star Trek: Nemesis.
This series is set at the end of the 24th century, twenty years after the events of that film, and will see Picard embark on a new adventure with some new (Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera and Harry Treadaway) and familiar faces, including Brent Spiner ('Data'), Jonathan Frakes ('Commander Riker'), Marina Sirtis ('Deanna Troi') and Voyager's Jeri Ryan ('Seven of Nine').

San Diego Comic-Con buzz.

This time
Patrick Stewart is a big part of the
CBS All Access It's On outdoor campaign and this billboard was snapped along the
Sunset Strip on October 7, 2019.
With a streaming platform war on the horizon with
Disney+ and
Apple TV+ both launching in November, it's no wonder that
CBS All Access is holding on to this show's debut until January 23, 2020.
