So what outer space, dimension-hopping adventures does the CBS All Access original hold for its sophomore season?
Trekkers will no doubt rejoice as the starship Discovery will meet the crew of the USS Enterprise, including exploring the characters of 'Captain Pike' (played by Anson Mount) and a pre-Original Star Trek 'Spock' (Ethan Peck), who also happens to be Burnham's adopted brother.
These out-of-this-world season two billboards were photographed along the Sunset Strip on December 28, 2018 and Ventura Boulevard the next day.
Fans of this new television generation of the sci-fi franchise can also enjoy these Star Trek: Discovery season one billboards and these Star Trek: Discovery costumes on display.
With a mix of old and new elements let's see if Star Trek: Discovery's second season can deliver a brighter futuristic vision of exploration and adventure than the grittier first season of war, torture, politics and betrayals. If so, beam us up.
