Sometimes bad things happen to good shows and that was the case when Fox cancelled Brooklyn Nine-Nine after five seasons.
Fans were not happy and to their delight the cop comedy became NBC's most wanted, renewing the series for a sixth season of hilarity (fortunately the show was made by Universal Television).
This season along with new cases we'll find out how newlyweds 'Jake' (Andy Samberg) and 'Amy' (Melissa Fumero) find married life, discover whether precinct captain 'Raymond Holt' (Andre Braugher) got his promotion to NYPD commissioner, continue to explore the sexuality of Stephanie Beatriz's 'Rosa' and also see the departure of Chelsea Peretti's 'Gina' as a regular cast member.
The 'NBC's Most Wanted' season six billboard was spied along Sunset Boulevard on December 7, whilst the 'Making the leap to NBC' version was photograph in the same ad location on December 19, 2018.

Fans of the beloved police comedy can also enjoy all these previous season promo and awards consideration billboards for Brooklyn Nine-Nine patrolling the skies in recent years.
Many sitcoms and comedies have found new homes on different channels in the past, like Cougar Town, The Mindy Project and Last Man Standing to name a few recent examples, so let's see how long Brooklyn Nine-Nine can survive on the beat this time.
Here's to a happy, healthy and hilarious year ahead.
