As the second season starts Maggie Gyllenhaal's character 'Eileen' has moved on from the mean Manhattan streets of prostitution to glitzier world of porn stardom, with the hopes of being in control of her own adult films.
With her character battling for female empowerment and others seeking justice for sex workers, it's interesting to see the other high-profile star of the show, James Franco, reprising his roles as twin brothers after the sexual harassment allegations against him that ruined his Oscar for chances for The Disaster Artist earlier this year.
Maybe all his scandals can get lost amidst the crime, money, drugs, disco, racial and gender inequalities of 70s showbiz NYC.
These season two billboards were photographed along the Sunset Strip, La Brea Avenue and Vine Street from August 22 to August 30, 2018.
Fans of the HBO period drama can also enjoy all these season one and awards consideration billboards for The Deuce from last autumn and winter.
The Deuce may not be everyone's cup of tea, but these new billboards have real XXX appeal.
Stick around in the coming days for even more billboards for new shows this fall TV season, but also some variety with the new flicks gracing cinema screens near you too.

UPDATED: Here's also a winter awards consideration billboard for the second season of The Deuce spied along La Cienega Boulevard on December 4, 2018.

UPDATED: Here's also billboards for the third and final season of The Deuce with the drama moving the action in the pornography industry to the mid 1980s.
With the seedy 42nd Street in Manhattan about to be fundamentally transformed, Talking Heads 1983 song 'Burning Down The House' seems the perfect track and tagline for season three.
These billboards were photographed along Robertson Boulevard and the Sunset Strip from September 7 to September 13, 2019.
