Welcome to day four of our Emmys 2018 extravaganza and today it's the turn of NBC and Hulu's Emmy nominees in billboard form.
This year NBC had a cohesive Consider campaign for its shows and talent helping the networks to garner 78 nods, and now it returns to the city skies with all the Emmy nominations added, like this example for the sophomore season of feel-good drama, This Is Us.
This second season was filled with death, addiction, miscarriages, weddings, new directions and new family secrets revealed, earning the time-hopping series and the cast eight Emmy nominations.
Can Sterling K. Brown add another Emmy after taking home the Outstanding Lead Actor trophy last year for playing 'Randall Pearson'?
These Emmy nominee billboards, including one at production company Fox Studios, was photographed along the Sunset Strip, Ventura Boulevard and Pico Boulevard from August 8 to August 19, 2018.
Meanwhile NBC's Easter live rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar seemed to please TV Academy voters with thirteen Emmy nominations for the cast and production crew, including acting nods for John Legend, Brandon Victor Dixon and Sara Bareilles.
These vibrant 'Consider' Emmy nominee billboards for the live variety special were snapped along Sunset Boulevard and Highland Avenue on August 12, 2018.
This current administration may be fraying nerves and destroying lives all across America, but it's certainly revitalised the fortunes of the long-running Saturday Night Live, with the variety sketch series nabbing a whopping 22 Emmy nominations.
This Emmy nomination billboard for the show's 43rd season, featuring nominees Alec Baldwin, Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Aidy Bryant and Leslie Jones, was spotted along Lankershim Boulevard on August 13, 2018.
With an amazing 242 nominations and 54 wins to date, how many more Emmys can SNL take home this year?
And speaking of comedy, Universal Television's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt received two nominations for the first half of the Netflix show's fourth season.
Up for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Tituss Burgess, these joyful Emmy nominee billboards were spied along Melrose Avenue, Highland Avenue and Ventura Boulevard from July 25 to August 14, 2018.
In the meantime, subscription streaming service Hulu nabbed 27 Emmy nominations this awards season, led by 20 nominations for the sophomore season of The Handmaid's Tale.
Still so eerily relevant in today's political climate, this second season continued the tale of Elisabeth Moss' 'Offred/June' beyond Margaret Atwood's 1985 dystopian novel, exploring the totalitarian state of Gilead and all its inhabitants further and in grueling and intriguing directions.
Already the recipient of eight Emmy wins for its debut season, the nominee billboards for the sci-fi drama were photographed along the Sunset Strip and Santa Monica Boulevard from August 14 to August 18, 2018.
And whereas The Handmaid's Tale gives us a glimpse of a possible dark future of the United States, Sarah Silverman's I Love You, America was trying to find what unites and not divides Americans, exploring citizens similarities, rather than differences in her variety sketch show.
For her comedic and patriotic efforts she was rewarded with an Emmy nomination and this nominee billboard spotted along La Brea Avenue on August 7, 2018.
And finally, Hulu's mini-series The Looming Tower garnered four Emmy nominations for its dramatization of the rivalry between the FBI and CIA and the events leading up to 9/11.
Jeff Daniels is certainly having a good year as he was also nominated for his villainous role in Netflix's Western mini-series, Godless.
This Emmy nominee billboard for The Looming Tower, also featuring supporting acting nominee Michael Stuhlbarg, was photographed along Pico Boulevard on August 18, 2018.
Be sure to take a look at NBC and Hulu's Emmy nominee billboards from last year and stay tuned tomorrow for one last roundup of all the other Emmy-nominated shows and TV movies spotted around the sprawling streets of La La land this past few weeks.
