1972's classic blaxploitation movie Super Fly gets a 2018 makeover this summer, with Superfly from Director X and starring Trevor Jackson as 'Youngblood Priest'.

In the action thriller the career criminal wants out of the Atlanta drug scene, but one bad deal may throw a spanner in the works of the whole operation before he can make his exit with one more payday.

These Superfly film billboard were snapped hustling along Melrose Avenue, La Cienega Boulevard and La Brea Avenue from May 26 to May 28, 2018.

Can this retelling of the classic crime drama offer something new and exciting at the box office this weekend, and if successful can Shaft, Cleopatra Jones and Foxy Brown remakes be far behind.
