In The Cloverfield Paradox set in the near future, a multinational crew and scientists and engineers aboard a space station orbiting the Earth prepare to test the Shepard particle accelerator with the hopes of solving the planet's energy crisis with the world on the brink of war.
Not only does the experiment throw the Cloverfield Station into a parallel universe, but it's also the cause of all the monsters and alien invasions that took place in prior installments by affecting time and space.
This latest slice of science fiction horror stars a stellar cast including Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Daniel Brühl, David Oyelowo, Ziyi Zhang, John Ortiz, Aksel Hennie, Elizabeth Debicki and Chris O'Dowd as they discover the perils of traveling to another dimension, which turns out to be more than just 'armless' fun.
The brilliant launch marketing on Super Bowl Sunday was followed up with some cool billboards for the movie around town, including the interconnecting and reversed billboards featuring Chris O'Dowd (and his scene-stealing arm) which were snapped along West Hollywood's Sunset Strip on February 8, 2018.

Meanwhile the other sci-fi ad creative with Mbatha-Raw's 'Hamilton' sitting in the space station's porthole was spotted along La Brea Avenue the day before and above Sepulveda Boulevard on February 11, 2018.

Not everyone may like the new Cloverfield movie, but you can't fault the creativity and excitement generated by the film's marketing.
