Queer Eye TV remake billboards...

Queer Eye TV remake billboard
Supermodels Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour, Tatjana Patitz and Christy Turlington may not be featured in this billboard for Netflix's revival of Queer Eye (for the Straight Guy), but this ad creative really does channel the iconic Peter Lindbergh fashion photography.

This month there's a new 'Fab Five' in town to makeover men in need of some fabulousness in their life. This time around Tan France is handling fashion, Jonathan Van Ness is in charge of grooming, Antoni Porowski will dispense wisdom on food and wine, Bobby Berk manages design and Karamo Brown will talk things culture.

The original series starring Carson Kressley, Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Felicia and Jai Rodriguez ran for five season from 2003 to 2007, so let's see if this new crew resonates as much with today's audience.

Queer Eye Netflix season 1 billboard
With the actions of the current President and administration reducing protections for LGBT people and encouraging homophobic attacks and hatred all in the name of religious freedom, there's never been a better time to be visible, out and proud and for this Netflix reboot to heal with humour and heart as it travels around the country.

This version also has Queer Eye stylized as 'QE' for short, although it does feel like its trying to minimise the word 'Queer' which is surprising as this is gay-friendly West Hollywood after all.
