Daily Billboard thinks what's really refreshing about these new movies is that they are totally original and charting a new course and are not adapted from a book or comic, plus as they're shrouded in secrecy everyone gets to enjoy the story unfold on the big screen as they are watching with their popcorn and fellow cinema goers.
The Force Awakens continued the tale of the battle between the light and dark sides of the Force thirty years after the end of Return of the Jedi, and we were left at the end of the film with the Force-strong Jakku scavenger Rey holding out Luke's lightsaber to the Jedi Master.

What's obvious is that there are so many mysteries of the past, and the future, to be unlocked by this continuation of the Star Wars saga.
Joining all the familiar faces this time around will also be all-new characters and creatures, like Kelly Marie Tran's 'Rose Tico', Benicio Del Toro's 'DJ' and Laura Dern's 'Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo', plus Porgs, Vulptex crystalline foxes and other alien species.
1980's The Empire Strikes Back is seen as one of the best movie sequels ever, so there's just a little bit of pressure for writer and director Rian Johnson to deliver a thrilling follow-up to 2015's continuation of the Star Wars space opera.
