The Shannara Chronicles moves from
MTV to
Spike for its second season, but you can probably expect more changes than that in the all-new episodes of the television adaptation of
Terry Brooks fantasy novels which has beautiful filming locations in
New Zealand helping to evoke that epic
Lord of the Rings feel.
After a dangerous quest, defeating an army of demons and the sacrifice of
'Amberle' (Poppy Drayton) last season to save the
Ellcrys, the ancient magical tree of the
Elves, this season
Austin Butler's 'Wil Ohmsford' and
Ivana Baquero's 'Eretria' must face the consequences of their actions and the return of magic to the
Four Lands.
Fortunately one year on Manu Bennett's last druid 'Allanon' will be on hand again to help them recover from lost loves and friends, whilst they face a new threat from 'The Crimson', a group hunting down all magic users.
