After three days of horror (and we're not talking about Donald Trump's presidency), it's time for something a little different on Daily Billboard.
Today it's time to get romantic with these evocative billboards for the third season of Starz Diana Gabaldon TV adaptation, Outlander.
This season the time-tossed lovers, WWII nurse 'Claire' (Caitriona Bale) and Highlander 'Jamie' (Sam Heughan) will be reunited and they'll be leaving the standing stones of the Scotland and sailing off on another adventure, based on the third Outlander book, Voyager.
These Outlander season three billboards were snapped above the Sunset Strip and along Beverly Boulevard from August 20 to August 24, 2017.
Plus fans of the show can also enjoy these previous season promo billboards for Outlander.
Come for the reunion and stay for the steamy sex scenes, glorious period costumes and the next chapter of the romance that has lasted centuries.

American Horror Story: Cult TV billboards...
Sometimes Daily Billboard's head hurts thinking about the sheer volume of billboards filling L.A.'s sprawling skyline, especially at this time of year with a new fall TV season imminent.

AHS: Cult will also see the return of stars like Sarah Paulson and Cheyenne Jackson, plus welcome newcomers like Alison Pill, Billy Eichner, Colton Haynes, Lena Dunham and Billie Lorde.
The sixth season's AHS: Roanoke was almost a like palate cleanser after a steady diet of ghosts, witches, freaks, serial killers and vampires, so it'll be interesting to see what horrors the show delivers next.

These striking season seven billboards were spied along La Brea Avenue, the Sunset Strip, Santa Monica Boulevard, Pico Boulevard, Bundy Drive, Ventura Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard from August 16 to August 26, 2017.
Followers of the twisted TV series can also enjoy these previous season promo billboards for American Horror Story, from 2011 when the show launched to date.
Plus for more creepy clown-themed billboards be sure to check out these IT movie billboards, this Poltergeist movie billboards and even this Heath Ledger Joker billboard.
Meanwhile for more TV shows focusing on cults, take a look at these billboards for The Following, these billboards for The Path and this Cult billboard.
But think how much your head would hurt if it was made of honeycomb, or you had a bee buzzing around your brain.
FX's horror anthology series, American Horror Story, is back for a seventh wicked installment with this season dubbed Cult.
The show is also back with some killer key art in the city skyline, with imagery themed around clowns and bees (some would say the ultimate cult with their hive mentality).
What we also know about this season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's series that changes characters and themes with each iteration, is that it'll also focus on the recent U.S. Presidential Election and series regular Evan Peters will play multiple cult leaders throughout history.

AHS: Cult will also see the return of stars like Sarah Paulson and Cheyenne Jackson, plus welcome newcomers like Alison Pill, Billy Eichner, Colton Haynes, Lena Dunham and Billie Lorde.

Death Note movie billboards...
Horror seems to be all the rage in the skies at the moment with new scary movies on the big screen, returning TV shows coming this fall and original films streaming on Netflix.
Death Note comes to life on the streaming service courtesy of You're Next director Adam Wingard and is based on the Japanese manga created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata.

The fantasy horror stars Nat Wolff as a high school outcast called 'Light Turner' who discovers a supernatural book, known as the Death Note, that can summon the spiky death god 'Ryuk' (voiced by Willem Dafoe) by writing the name of anyone on its parchment pages.
Things take a dark turn when Light uses the book to start killing his high school bully, settling old vendettas and targeting random scumbags.
The striking standard landscape billboards for the film were spotted along the Sunset Strip and Melrose Avenue on August 16, 2017.
Meanwhile the special extension cut-out versions were snapped along La Brea Avenue and Beverly Boulevard on August 22, 2017.
Fans of Nat Wolff can also check out this Paper Towns movie billboard, whilst horror aficionados can also enjoy all these horror-themed movie and TV billboards.
Let's hope this Netflix film adaptation can please die-hard fans and those viewers just needing some summer scares, and doesn't leave too much of a sour note with audiences.

IT movie billboards...
If you need to escape the horror of everyday life at the moment, then Daily Billboard has just the terrifying movie for you with the big screen adaptation of Stephen King's IT.
The 1986 horror novel may have already have been brought to the small screen with Tim Curry as the sinister 'Pennywise' clown abducting children and feeding on townsfolk's fears in the 1990 mini-series, but this time around Bill Skarsgård brings an extra level of creepiness to the harlequin-clad, shape-shifting ghoul.
The only thing standing in his way of his reign of terror that has spanned generations in the quant small town of Derry, Maine, is a bunch of misfit kids called the 'Losers', a group of children who've been mistreated, bullied or abused, in the street, at school and even in their own homes.

With a plucky band of outcasts trying to solve a mystery and save the day, you can certainly see where Stranger Things drew its inspiration from.
The special extension cut-out billboard for the film was first spotted along Beverly Boulevard on August 11, then above La Brea Avenue and Westwoord Boulevard through August 26, 2017.
Meanwhile the standard landscape version was spied along Melrose Avenue on August 16 and the portrait billboard as photographed at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank on August 20, 2017.
Only time will tell whether IT will sink or swim at the box office, but with these cool billboards promoting the horror movie it's off to a good start.
UPDATED: Fans of the film can also check out these screen-used IT movie costumes and props on display, including a closer look at Pennywise's clown costume.

Colourful Sofamania billboards brightening L.A.'s summer skies...
If you're using this weekend to go furniture hunting, then maybe you could have saved yourself the hassle by logging onto Sofamania's website for some contemporary and colourful couch and chair styles.
These bright designs may not suit every home, but they've certainly brought a burst of colour the city skyline this summer.
These vibrant Sofamania billboards were photographed along Pico Boulevard, La Cienega Boulevard and Westwood Boulevard on August 6, 2017.
For another approach to advertising furnishings, make sure you also check out these JC Penney sofa billboards and these Move Loot used furniture billboards.
Whether it's settees, love seats, futons, or sectional sofas, it looks like the answer may be at your finger tips (although there's nothing quite like sitting on something to make sure it'll be suitable for your derrière).

The Tick series premiere TV billboards...
After Netflix resurrecting fan favourite shows like Full House and the Gilmore Girls, Amazon's streaming service is taking a turn and breathing new life into The Tick this August.
Ben Edlund's spoof superhero was created in 1986 as a newsletter mascot and spawned his own independent comic book, an animated cartoon series in 1994 which ran for three seasons and a short-lived live-action show which ran from 2001 to 2002 and garnered a cult following.
Now the blue-clad bug is back for more absurd televisual adventures with Peter Serafinowicz wearing the suit and Griffin Newman as his ordinary accountant sidekick 'Arthur'.
Living in a world where superpowers are real, the comedic costumed crusaders will take on villains and parody the very nature of superheroes.
The special extension cut-out billboard for The Tick was spotted along Sunset Boulevard on August 16, whilst the giant-sized version was spied further west along the Sunset Strip on August 19, 2017.
Meanwhile the fun antennae ad creative was snapped teasing his return along La Brea Avenue on August 22, 2017.
With the small screen saturated with super heroic fare these days, and comedy attempts like DC's Powerless failing to find a large enough audience on NBC, only time will tell whether this hero can make a spec-Tick-ular return to TV.

UPDATED: Here's also a special billboard with The Tick and Arthur bursting through high above Westwood Boulevard in West L.A. on August 26, 2017.
If you like this creative idea where the billboard hoarding is exposed in some way, make sure you also check out this Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them billboard, this billboard for The Angry Birds Movie, this explosive billboard for The Dark Knight Rises and this Goosebumps movie billboard.
In addition here's also a standard landscape billboard for The Tick above Wilshire Boulevard at San Vicente Boulevard the same day.
Plus another special extension cut-out with a different 'Big, blue & beyond' tagline high over Olympic Boulevard on the westside.

Plus here's another fun antennae billboard poking meta fun at streaming TV shows, snapped above Pico Boulevard on August 27, 2017.
Meanwhile this selection of street posters spotted along La Brea Avenue also illustrates some of The Tick's fun friend and rogues gallery.
Have you heroically binge-watched the first season yet? If not, why not?

UPDATED: Here's another humorous ad creative for The Tick remake spotted above Melrose Avenue on August 30, 2017.

UPDATED: Here's another fun billboard for The Tick, this time locally-tailored for Beverly Hills, and spotted at the intersection of La Cienega and Olympic Boulevards on September 8, 2017.

And here's an additional special extension cut-out spied near LAX at La Cienega and Century Boulevards on September 11, 2017.

UPDATED: Here are also billboards for the second half of the first season, with the giant version spotted along the Sunset Strip and the landscape billboard snapped along La Brea Avenue on January 31, 2018.
Don't despair if these all-new episodes are still not enough to satisfy your cravings, as a second season of The Tick has already been commissioned.

UPDATED: Here's also a collection of billboards for the second half of The Tick's first season on Amazon Prime spotted along Broadway in Manhattan between 51st and 52nd Streets.
