All bets are off in the fourth and final season of The Strain as everything descends into a living hell, and not everyone is going to make it out of this alive.
Jumping forward nine months after the end of season three, humans now live in a post-apocalyptic world where the vampiric Strigoi roam the streets freely all day long under the cover of a nuclear winter.
Humans can either collaborate or die, and the only way to be free is destroying 'The Master' ruling this new totalitarian society.
These final season billboards, which evoke illustrations for Edgar Allan Poe's 'A Descent into Maelström', were snapped along La Cienega Boulevard and above the Sunset Strip from June 28 to July 6, 2017.
Fans of the Guillermo del Toro, Chuck Hogan and Carlton Cuse's TV adaptation of the horror stories can also enjoy these previous season promo billboards for The Strain from years past.
Can Corey Stoll, Kevin Durand, David Bradley, Ruta Gedmintas and the other plucky survivors save humanity before it's too late, or will evil triumph?
Squirming worms, lashing tongues, immortal Nazis, vampire children, nightmare scenarios, get your summer scares while you still can.
