If you're looking for a quirky and bizarre tale to warm your heart this summer, then maybe Netflix's original film Okja will keep you entertained.
Directed by Snowpiercer's Bong Joon Ho, the story follows a young South Korean girl, 'Mija' (Ahn Seo-hyun), caring for a ten-year-old super-pig the size of a small elephant on her grandfather's remote mountain farm.
The creature is the physical and intellectual property of a multi-national company run by the sinister Tilda Swinton, and this new breed of animal has been sent all over the world to be raised naturally be farmers from different countries, with different methods, to produce the tastiest meat.
When it's time to harvest Ojka, Mija must try and save her beloved friend with the help of the Animal Liberation Front on a journey that takes her from Seoul to New York.
The standard landscape billboard for Ojka was first spotted above Beverly Boulevard on June 2, 2017.
Meanwhile the even more eye-catching special extension cut-out versions were photographed along Sunset Boulevard on June 12 and Santa Monica Boulevard on June 28, 2017.
If you like stories about kids and their strong bonds with their animal friends, along with a cautionary tale about genetic experimentation, animal rights and corporate greed, it sounds like Okja may just be the film for you.
