Netflix's documentary by filmmaker Brian Knappenberger, Nobody Speak: Trials of the Free Press, was originally concerned with the Gawker Media lawsuit involving former Wrestler Hulk Hogan's sex tape, then along came Trump and it took on a broader significance.
The documentary explores how Silicon Valley venture capitalist, Peter Thiel, bankrolled the invasion of privacy lawsuit, which Hulk Hogan won with a $31 million settlement resulting in Gawker filing for bankruptcy.
What came to light was an ugly pattern of big businesses and billionaires becoming involved in media scandals to silence news organisations, sometimes because of personal vendettas because of a stories written about them in the past.

These thought-provoking billboards for the documentary were snapped along Fairfax Avenue and Melrose Avenue from June 28 to July 5, 2017.
They say money talks and the way this country is going civil rights are being quashed, freedom of speech discouraged and facts distorted on a daily basis, so let's hope the world comes to its senses sooner rather than later and that truth will win out.
