The new dramedy is the latest Netflix show to get a chance to shine in the spotlight, following the lives of Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling in and out of the ring in the Eighties.
Set in 1985 Los Angeles and inspired by the real-life all-female wrestling series, the comedy stars Alison Brie as 'Ruth Wilder' aka 'Zoya the Destroyer', a struggling actress invited by Marc Maron's director 'Sam Sylvia' along with other women to audition for a TV pilot.
Complicating matters and making for TV gold is the person in the other corner is her former friend and soap star 'Debbie Eagan' aka 'Liberty Belle' (played by Betty Gilpin), whose husband Ruth had an affair with, making for an explosive fight in the ring.
This collection of eye-catching billboards for the new show were snapped along Cahuenga Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard, Vine Street and the Sunset Strip from June 27 to July 2, 2017.
The series also received extra standout with these fab special extension cut-out billboards, with lady wrestlers launching themselves at each other on opposite sides of the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.

UPDATED: Here's also a GLOW billboard with some extra embellishment in the form of a neon sign treatment for the show's title, snapped along the Sunset Strip on July 5, 2017 by day and night.

As you can see the neon sign installation has great standout at night and really fits with the 80s setting of the show.

Daily Billboard wonders what Netflix offering will be next to receive the neon treatment, although let's hope it doesn't overuse the gimmick in the coming months.
