Game of Thrones season seven TV billboards...

This summer the sun may be shining and the temperatures may be soaring, but it looks like winter is officially here.

If you know your White Walkers from your Dothraki horse lords, then you'll know that all hell is about to break out on the seventh season of Game of Thrones, with supernatural threats arriving from beyond the wall to in the North, plus armies and dragons sailing across to the seas in the South.

This foreboding giant-sized teaser billboard featuring the blue-eyed Night King was snapped looming large over eastbound Sunset Strip on June 12, whilst the landscape teaser billboards were photographed along Sunset Boulevard through June 27, 2017.

Fans of the HBO fantasy series based on George R. R. Martin's best-selling novels can also enjoy these previous season billboards for Game of Thrones from 2011 to date.

These days it's hard to watch fantasy films knowing that this television series is supplying high budget production values and special effects, career-defining performances, shocking surprises week after week and battles of epic proportions.

With only two seasons remaining of GOT, you know the pace isn't going to slow down and the betrayals, bloody battles and body count will only rise.

UPDATED: Due to timings Game of Thrones missed out on this year's Emmy awards consideration (it'll be eligible next year), but that doesn't stop HBO trying to garner Golden Globe and other TV industry nominations with billboards this like snapped along Melrose Avenue on November 18, 2017.
