With millions of stars filling the night skies it would be pretty naive and a tad arrogant to assume that we Earthlings are the only life in this vast universe.
But what if we didn't like what we found out there and at the end of the day we were actually better off alone?
That's the premise of the new science fiction movie, Life, when six astronauts on a space station orbiting Mars discover a sample on the Red Planet that would be the first example of extraterrestrial life.
To make things interesting amongst the spacefaring crew are the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson and Ryan Reynolds.
These Life movie billboards were snapped along Pico Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard and high above Highland Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard from March 6 to March 13, 2017.
The hand inside an astronaut's helmet cleverly evokes Alien's 'facehugger' design, don't you think.
With Alien: Covenant arriving in cinemas this May, let's hope that Life can deliver some truly original horrific sci-fi delights, and frights, this March.
