Spinning out of the ratings winner The Good Wife, which starred Julianna Margulies as 'Alicia Florrick' and ran for seven seasons from 2009 to 2016, the legal and political drama picks up a year later and sees Christine Baranski's 'Diane Lockhart' and Cush Jumbo's 'Lucca Quinn' joined by Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey's Rose Leslie as 'Maia Lindell'.
Maia is the goddaughter of Diane Lockhart, but her fledgling reputation as a young lawyer is ruined and Diane's life-savings are wiped out by a financial scam perpetrated by her father, forcing the pair to start anew with Lucca at one of Chicago's pre-eminent law firms.

The Good Fight will be one of original flagship offerings (along with the new Star Trek: Discovery series) on the new subscription service, CBS All Access, so let's see if it can pack a ratings punch when it debuts this February.
