Actually in the past a lot of people have said women can't do a lot of things, especially women of colour, so this film based on a true untold story is especially important.
Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae star as three African-American women providing NASA with the important mathematical data needed to launch the program's first successful space missions, including putting John Glenn into orbit, ahead of the Russians.
These Hidden Figures film billboards were photographed along 3rd Street, Beverly Boulevard and the Sunset Strip from December 16 to December 18, 2016.
Fans of Octavia Spencer can also enjoy these Red Band Society TV billboards and these movie billboards for The Help, plus admirers of Taraji P. Henson can see more of her (quite literally) in this PETA anti-fur billboard and these Empire TV billboards, whilst you can also check Janelle Monae out in these Google Play and Sonos billboards.
The movie has already garnered Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations, so let's see if it can also blast off with audiences in cinemas this January (and in early screenings this Christmas).
UPDATED: Fans of the film can also enjoy these original movie costumes from Hidden Figures on display.

UPDATED: Here's also an Oscar nominee billboard for Hidden Figures, which has now surpassed La La Land and other Oscar nominees at the box office, snapped along Pico Boulevard on February 12, 2017.
