This new TV season Max Allan Collins Quarry mystery novels get loosely adapted for the small screen on Cinemax.
In 1972 a Marine marksman named 'Mac Conway' (played by Logan Marshall-Green) returns home from Vietnam to his Memphis home where he finds himself shunned by his loved ones and demonised by the public.
Struggling with his experiences at war, the disillusioned vet is drawn into a dark world of contract killing and corruption along the length of the Mississippi River.
This billboard with a haunted looking Mac's reflection in a swimming pool makes for an interesting visual and was first spied along the Sunset Strip on August 17, then later along La Brea Avenue on August 22, 2016.
With Cinemax's gritty action series Banshee ending earlier this year it looks like Quarry will be just the ticket to replace it this Fall season.
