Welcome to another week here at Daily Billboard and let The Hunger Games begin, sorry we mean let the Fall TV season commence.
It's that time of year when we're coming to the end of the Summer blockbuster movies, the skies are filled with Emmy nominee contenders and the first challengers for the new television season are starting to appear in August's skies.
One of the first out of the gate, trying to make a big impression, is the new CBS sitcom from Kevin James, Kevin Can Wait.
After enjoying big screen success in the last couple of years, Kevin returns to his TV roots and follows up his nine season sitcom The King of Queens, which ran from 1998 to 2007, with this new show.
In Kevin Can Wait (with its nice play on words of Warren Beatty's 1978 movie Heaven Can Wait), he plays a newly retired police officer looking forward to spending time with his family and cop buddies, but things don't go to plan when his oldest daughter announces she's dropping out of college to support her fiancé.
Deciding his fun has to wait, he moves them both into his home in order to rescue her future and keep her in school, his home being his new beat.
These series launch billboards were first spied along La Cienega Boulevard and Beverly Boulevard on August 10, whilst the giant-sized version was snapped along the Sunset Strip on August 12, 2016.
Fans of Kevin James can also enjoy these Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 movie billboards, these Here Comes the Boom film billboards, these Zookeeper movie billboards and for a younger look at the funny guy, these Grown Ups movie billboards.
Now sit back, grab a beer and let the onslaught of new TV show billboards begin.
