Tyrant season three TV billboards...

Tyrant returns for a third season of family drama, political coups and power struggles in the fictional Middle Eastern country of Abuddin.

When 'Barry Al-Fayeed' (Adam Rayner) was drawn back to his homeland with his American family for a wedding he never though he'd wind up leading an insurgency against the country's government and his own brother 'Jamal' (Ashraf Barhom).

After surviving a death sentence, he formed an unlikely alliance with his family to fend of Caliphate invaders, and then his brother was shot and he was left as interim President. With the country on the verge of democracy (or is it an uprising?) and his scheming sister-in-law 'Leila' (Moran Atias) trying to do all she can to hold on to her former position of power as First Lady, can he retain control?

These striking season three billboards with that ornate Middle Eastern art feel to them were first snapped along the Sunset Strip on June 20, then later along Pico Boulevard on June 23, 2016.

If you're a fan of the drama series, make sure you also check out these desert-set Tyrant season one billboards and these mosaic-themed Tyrant season two billboards.

With the state of unrest in the world at the moment, there's never been a better time for a drama told from the Middle East character perspective, rather than the one-dimensional portrayals as terrorists and religious fanatics we're constantly bombarded with in other shows.
