In the words of Beyoncé, "Who run the world? Girls (girls)", and that appears to be more than true for USA Networks new drama, Queen of the South.
Alice Braga stars in this gritty new series as 'Teresa Mendoza', a women who flees Mexico when her drug-runner boyfriend is killed. Settling in Spain she vows to become the country's reigning drug lord, or 'Queenpin', and avenge the murder of her dead lover.
The 13-episode first season is based on the successful Spanish language Telemundo mini-series, La Reina del Sur (with Kate del Castillo in the lead role).
Daily Billboard loves these impactful billboards with the bold Queenpin on her throne and the variety of different coloured background designs adding interest to the outdoor campaign.
These billboards for the TV remake were spotted lording it over the streets of Los Angeles from May 26 to June 2, 2016, including along La Cienega Boulevard, Fairfax Avenue, Pico Boulevard and Westwood Boulevard.

Let's see if this series lives up to that old adage that the female of the species is more deadly than the male.
