In this prequel to 2012's Snow White & the Huntsman, Charlize Theron is back in all her evil magnificence as 'Ravenna', still obsessed with being the fairest of them all, this time she's joined by her frosty sister, 'Freya' the Ice Queen, played by Emily Blunt.

When that pesky magic mirror on the wall reveals that Freya's child may be fairer than her aunt, the baby just has to go. But did the Evil Queen really kill her niece, that would be truly wicked?
The loss sends the heartbroken young Freya off into icy solitude to raise an army of Huntsmen, where two of her warrior forces, a young Chris Hemsworth and Jessica Chastain embark on a forbidden romance.
Will these powerful sisters face-off against each other, or join together to rule the lands in this dark fantasy which mashes up the Brothers Grimm's Snow White and Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen fairytale characters.
