Dating websites and hookup app billboards keeping love alive in the skies of L.A...

1 million dates adventures a week Tinder billboard
Happy Valentine's Day lovebirds.

The internet has really revolutionised people's approach to dating and sex. Forget meeting in bars, or placing a personal ad in the classified section, chat forums, dating websites and now smartphone apps have led to a radically different approach to potentially finding a lover or spouse, cheating on your partner, or just finding someone to have some fun with.
Tinder hookup app billboard
In 2012 location-based mobile dating app Tinder launched, following the popular gay hookup app Grindr in 2009, and straight people started swiping to find their perfect love match or casual hookup.

This very pedestrian orange special extension billboard for Tinder was spotted along Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood on August 30, 2013.

Also appearing the skies recently is one of the latest apps, Bumble, which was founded by Whitney Wolfe, the co-founder of Tinder. This app puts the power of the dating experience into the hands of women who have to initiate the conversation by swiping right.

Sugar Models Live the life billboard
Meanwhile Sugar Models seems to be for a different kind of woman, who's looking for a rich sugar daddy to pamper her and help her live the glamorous lifestyle in exchange for 'companionship'.

Well if there's one place full of beautiful young women and older wealthy gentlemen, it's Hollywood.

This subtle Sugar Models billboard was spied along Sunset Boulevard on January 8, 2016, and even though the name implies what it could be for, you really have to visit the website to understand the full implications.

Meanwhile this Seeking Arrangement website billboard was snapped along the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood on May 19, 2014, and it's far more overt about its intentions and desires.
