Now it's all smartphones, designer clothes, video games and expensive toys and not juicy fruit that kids crave.
But fear not, California grown Halos have this fun and heartwarming outdoor ad campaign in the run up to the festive season to make you smile.
These bright and witty Halos mandarins billboards were snapped along Pico Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard from November 17 to November 28, 2015.
Those ad creatives were followed by this simplified 'Pure goodness' billboard spotted in the Sunset Boulevard location on December 2, 2015.
As a comparison, here's also a trio of billboards for rival orange brand, Cuties, along the busy Highland Avenue in Hollywood spotted on November 6, 2015.

Easy to peel, seedless and super sweet, Halos do make the perfect treat for your kids, and don't you think that zesty smell when you peel them always brings back nostalgic memories of Christmases past.
