Hmmm, we're not quite sure if this is what they mean by nuclear family and we don't really know what atomic mushroom clouds have to do with being happy, and even unicorns are not everyone's cup of tea, so what exactly are they doing on these billboards for Showtime's new comedy drama, HAPPYish?
The Trip and Philomena's Steve Coogan plays 'Thom Payne', a successful forty-something advertising creative director with a loving wife (Kathryn Hahn) and son, but why isn't he happier?
In this dark satire his working life is thrown into upheaval when he gets a new 25-year-old 'wunderkind' boss who starts spouting scary words like 'digital', 'social' and 'viral'. Does he need to get with the program, or will his quest for happiness in this modern day world continue to elude him?
Similar in concept to HBO's recent middle-aged angst-ridden comedy Togetherness, this series almost became derailed with the death of its original star, Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Fortunately the British actor is no stranger to comedy having brought his alter-ego, 'Alan Partridge', to the small and big screen for many years.
These special extension billboards were first spotted along Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood at beginning of April, then snapped song with the standard version further west along Santa Monica Boulevard and Sepulveda Boulevard on April 11, 2015.
