The 'Shot on iPhone 6' billboards feature a dazzling array of stunning images taken on the smartphone device with its camera and the aid of various photographic and image editing software apps.
The 'World Gallery' campaign is a radical departure in the city skyline from Apple's usual product design focus and instead highlights the benefits of the product. The end result is certainly a jarring point-of-difference for the tech giant (although the white frame helps identify the ads as belonging to Apple), which makes the billboards even more eye-catching.
Here's a selection of just some of the scenic billboards featuring around 60 different photographs snapped around the streets and skyline of Los Angeles.
So far Daily Billboard hasn't spotted any duplicates around L.A. yet, but we know that the same creatives are popping up in different cities around the world as we type (let's hope the photographers were all well compensated and not just 'paid' by Apple with the honour of having their images featured on a billboard).
These breathtaking and inspirational billboards certainly brighten the city skyline and provide a welcome visual relief from the usual bombardment of hard sell or poorly designed advertising that assaults passersby's senses on a daily basis.
Be sure to compare these interesting ads, which were photographed from March 3 to March 8, 2015, to Apple's previous iPhone billboards and past iPad billboard advertising.
Now for some reason Daily Billboard is filled with the urge to travel and take some photos.
