Well with the fourth season of the hit comedy series it looks like those critics will get their wish, as the tagline for the latest episodes implies that these girls have 'nowhere to grow but up'.
With Lena Dunham and the show itself once again garnering Golden Globe nominations and Allison Williams flying back from a well received stint in the musical Peter Pan Live on NBC, it looks like the trials and tribulations of these Brooklyn-based twenty-somethings won't be ending any time soon.
This giant-sized billboard for the fourth season of Girls was snapped dominating the westbound Sunset Strip skyline on December 13, whilst the standard landscape billboard was spotted along Melrose Avenue on a cloudier December 17, 2014.
There's something very familiar about this ad design with the characters casting their heads to the skies (and the future), and if you were to put a space helmet on the girls you'd probably get a billboard very much like the outdoor ads for Syfy's Ascension mini-series.

If you're a fan of the Golden Globe-winning show, be sure to check out these previous season promo billboards for Girls from when it all started in April 2012.
UPDATED: Here's another landscape billboard for the fourth season snapped eastbound along L.A.'s Sunset Strip on a less cloudy December 22, 2014.

UPDATED: In addition here's also the "Brilliant" amended season four ad creative for HBO's 2015 Emmy Consideration campaign, spotted along Sepulveda Boulevard on May 29, 2015.

And another less obstructed example snapped along Highland Avenue on June 8, 2015.
